I recommend using thick natural leather at least 6 Oz (2.4 mm thick Vegetable Tanned Leather) and 4 Oz (1.6 mm) for getting the best results.
The tools required are:
- a regular cutter,
- a single hole puncher,
- edge beveller
- two needles
- hammer
Hardware for the bag:
- 1 snap
- 2 x D-ring (20 mm)
- 2 x buckle (25 mm)
- few rivets
- 1 Chicago screw (optional)
- 2 lobster clasps (25 mm)
Due to the possible minimum differences in the distance between the holes, we recommend using single hole punch.
Dimensions of the bag:
24 cm (bottom) to 18 cm (top) x 16.5 cm x 6.5 cm ( bottom) to 5 cm ( top) / 9.44'' (bottom) to 7.08'' x 6.49'' x 2.55'' ( bottom) to 1.96'' (top) + strap as long as You need
Measurement of the leather You will need to finish this project:
55 cm x 52 cm / 21.65'' x 20.47'' + leather for the strap as long as You need
