I recommend using thick natural leather at least 4-5 Oz (1.6 - 2.0 mm thick Vegetable Tanned Leather) for getting the best result.

The tools required are:
- a regular cutter,
- a hole puncher,
- edge beveller,
- two needles,
- hammer,
