This pattern lets you make a leather crossbody / saddle bag with a strong gothic and metal-inspired look.

Recommended Leather

Recommended leather:

• Approximately 2.0 mm / 6 oz vegetable-tanned leather
• Recommended thread: approximately 0.8 mm

Additional leather is required for the strap.

Hardware Required

• 2 × 25 mm lobster clasps
• 2 × 25 mm D-rings
• 1 × 25 mm buckle
• 1 × 13 mm snap fastener
• 1 × 18 mm magnetic clasp

Hardware is not included.

Tools

Basic leatherworking tools are required:

• Craft knife
• Hole punch
• Edge beveller
• Two stitching needles
• Hammer or mallet

For the printable PDF version, we recommend using a single-hole punch because very small differences in hole spacing can occur depending on printer settings.
