I recommend using thick natural leather 5-6 Oz ( 2.2 - 2.4mm thick Vegetable Tanned Leather ) for getting the best result and threads 0.8mm.
The tools required are:
- a regular cutter,
- a hole puncher,
- edge beveller
- two needles
- hammer
Due to the possible minimum differences in the distance between the holes, we recommend using single hole punch (PDF file).
HARDWARE:
- 8 x rivet
- 2 x buckle 25 mm
- 2 x buckle loop 25 mm
There is 8 different sizes of the belt from the size 85 cm / 33.46‘‘ to the size 120 cm / 47.24‘‘ (every 5 cm ).
IMPORTANT: THIS IS THE SIZE OF YOUR WAIST. Before You will start cutting the leather, PLEASE!!! stick the pattern for the belt together and check if it fits to You by applying it to Your waist. Don‘t cut the leather until You will find the size which fits You.
Measurement of the leather You will need to finish this project (approx. for one belt)):
132 cm x 27 cm / 52‘‘ x 10.62‘‘ ( main belt)
+ 2 x thin belt 139 cm x 2.5 cm / 55‘‘ x 0.98‘‘
