Recommended leather:
• 2.4 mm / approximately 6 oz vegetable-tanned leather for the main structure
• 1 mm / approximately 3 oz softer vegetable-tanned leather for smaller details
Using different leather weights helps maintain the structure of the bag while keeping detailed sections easier to work with.
Hardware Required
• 1 × zip, approximately 33–35 cm / 13–13.77 in
• 5 × handbag feet
• 4 × 25 mm rectangular rings
• 1 × 25 mm D-ring
• 1 × 25 mm bag lobster clasp
• 12 mm diameter rope
Hardware is not included.
Tools
Basic leatherworking tools are required:
• Craft knife or cutter
• Single-hole punch
• Edge beveller
• Two stitching needles
• Hammer or mallet
A single-hole punch is recommended for accurate preparation of the pre-marked stitching holes.
Important – Not for Laser Cutting
This pattern is designed for manual leatherworking and hand stitching.
No DXF or SVG files are included and the pattern is not intended for laser cutting.

Some previous leatherworking experience is recommended.
