Recommended Leather

For the best result, use approximately:

• 2.0–2.4 mm / 5–6 oz leather

You can use:

• Chrome-tanned leather for the main sides
• Firmer vegetable-tanned leather for the gusset

• 4 × 25 mm rectangular rings

Tools

Basic leatherworking tools are required:

• Craft knife
• Hole punch
• Edge beveller
• Two stitching needles
• Hammer or mallet

Because small differences in printed hole spacing can occur depending on printer settings, we recommend using a single-hole punch when preparing the stitching holes.
